It is a very big catch for hat trick producer KA Suresh after 'Eradane Madhuve, Govindayanamaha and Shravani Subramanya'. Suresh signed the first combination of hat trick hero Shivarajakumar and top south Indian films director P Vasu. It is titled as 'Shivalinga'. Shivalingu was in the custody of MN Kumar. He has given consent for the title.

Interestingly 'Linga' is the title of super star Rajanikanth film by producer Rockline Venkatesh in KS Ravikumar direction.

This 'Shivalinga' is starting on July 12, birthday of Shivarajakumar. With this P Vasu directs Shivanna for the first time. He was co director to 'Guri' of Dr Rajakumar in the past.
